Abstract
The pandemic of Corona Virus Diasease 2019 (Covid-19) has hit the tourism sector. It is due to lockdown imposed by many countries in restricting the entry of foreigners, prohibiting their citizens to travel and urging business to close their operations temporary. Not only large businesses, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are also affected. Incomes are decrease and stop. Laid off was forced to do. The government tries to save the economic situation by making policies in providing stimulus, incentives, and relaxation. Further, relaxation of social distancing is also set to recover the economy. However, it is still considered insufficient to save the MSMEs in this sectors. What MSMEs need are an injection of fresh capital with easy access and cheaper way so they can recover and restart their business. To solve the situation, it is needed to formulate regulation and policy that can save and recover this sector by providing government investment and financial assistance for MSMEs. This article is written to provide policy input in recovering MSMEs in the tourism sector.
