Urgensi Regulasi Khusus Tentang Perusahaan Rintisan (Startup) Dalam Rangka Pengembangan Ekosistem Perusahaan Rintisan di Indonesia
Abstract
Startup companies are companies that newly entering or are still in the development or research phase to continue to find markets and develop their products. In the midst of a rapidly competitive industry, it is important to identify a company ecosystem to improve business performance by finding resources, connecting and building strengths. One aspect of the startup ecosystem is regulation, which functions to regulate the company's performance. The absence of specific regulations regarding startup companies is a challenge to the company's resilience. This study aims to determine the challenges of start-ups and the urgency of establishing special regulations regarding startups in the context of developing the startup ecosystem in Indonesia. The type of the study conducted is literature research which is directed to collect, examine and record as well as analysing the materials. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that in the midst of rapid industrial growth and high prospects, startup companies in Indonesia face challenges that often cause startups to fail. There is an urgency to form a special regulation regarding startup companies in a more concrete and complete manner in the context of developing the startup ecosystem in Indonesia.
